Excess Dye Results
Prior to beginning the project, I wound each ball of yarn into a hank (for faster drying.) I soaked each hank in a white sink of cold water. My goal was to get rid of any excess dye to lessen the effect of any possible colour bleeding in the final blocked product.

Absolutely none of the yarn I used for this scarf had any excess dye. For each hank of yarn, the water was as clear afterwards as it was before the soak.
