OK, so not exactly the same as the bagpuss socks, but close enough.

Cast on 46 stitches, did a heel flap rather than a short row heel as I was having difficulty getting it on as cashmere’s not too springy. I knitted the heel about 4 times in the end - there was an attempt at a yoyo heel and an attempt at a forked heel (short row half way then short row back up, then back down again).

Short row toe as in the bagpuss socks.

After I finished I decided they were too short, so I unravelled the cuff, picked up the stitches and knit another 3 inches or so onto the leg.

Bound off with Jenny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off. It’s surprisingly stretchy!
