Knitted for Sonia’s new baby. Sonny’s only a few weeks old, so I made it small. My tension was a bit rubbish for some reason, and the yarn shows up everything. I fudged the numbers a bit as I knitted it slightly tighter than suggested to keep it wee. I also knocked 4 stitches off the length of each arm as quite a few people said that they were too long. I forgot to slip the stitches on the cuffs, so they could have been better. For the cast on for the sleeves, I cast on with waste yarn and then just knitted into those loops, so I could do a 3 needle bind off. It worked very well. For the cast on at the back of the neck, I did a cable cast on at the beginning of the row and a backward loop cast on at the end of the row, on 2mm needles to stop it being too loose. I got this tip from techknitter. They match up ok.
