10.20.14: I have gotten to the first section of textured rows but I am concerned that I will only have a small finished project when I am done, so I am debating frogging back and restarting with larger needles.

10.22.14: I decided to frog back after doing two repeats of the textured rows. this time I CO with size 5 needles.

10.30.14: As I was re-doing the project, I realized I needed a set of circular US 5 needles, so I ordered a set online and started with a set of straight needles. I finally got to the point where this was too much to do on straights, at the start of the second textured rows, so I stopped and waited for the circulars to arrive. I got them today, and I’m very excited to switch over to my new needles! :)

11.13.14: I just finished the 3rd stripe section. I’m getting more excited as I work closer to the end. I wonder how much longer it will take to finish!

11.23.14: Finally finished the 3rd texture section, and began the final section of stripes. Will be putting this aside for a little bit as I need to finish a gift for a wedding next week and finish writing my lit review paper for my degree. I hope to pick it back up by the end of the week, but we’ll see how writing goes.

12.20.14: I cannot wait to finish this thing! I feel like I have been very close for a while, but it is getting to be rather tedious. I have only one more repeat of textured rows and the final but with the bind off to go. I should be able to wear it at Christmas!

12.23.14: It’s almost 3am, but finally finished! Blocking to come later.

12.30.14: Finally blocking. I loved it do much before it was blocked, but it looks even more beautiful as it is getting blocked!

As far as yarn goes, I did not use all of either color. Yardage/amount of yarn used is approximate.
