Notes

CO 64 sts for each sock, using top down- two at a time magic loop.

Probably won’t be working on these much until after the holidays, but I had the yarn and needles ready to go so I figured why not start them for when I am done with the Christmas knitting!

02-14-2016

Started working on the heel flap today. Have a total of 14 repeats on the leg of the texture pattern, spanning approximately 7 stripes.

With the heel flap, I am slipping the first st of every row, and on the last rs sts, ktbl.

Onto the gusset section of the socks. Two at a time has been tricky with the heel flaps and picking up sts after turning the heel. Good thing I had some dpns in the same size. Just slipped the onto the dpns and continued on. I will be doing gusset decreases on the same rounds as the textured rows on the instep.

Also I have binder clipped the cuff of each sock and stuffed the balls of yarn in each one to reduce tangles!

Finished! Wore them then washed them. They are sooooo soft! I’m going to love them!
