CO on 8/15/15

8/17/15: Already love the yarn and making this. I would make anything using this yarn!

8/21/15: finished with the first garter section - following the patten as written to this point.

8/22/15: finished with the first lace section as written in the pattern. can’t decide if I want to do another lace repeat or do the next garter section.

8/25/15: completed next garter section. did not do anymore lace on top of what was already done. I should have enough yarn to complete at least a double section of lace for the next 2 repeats. I began the lace section today as well.

8/27/15: 2nd lace section is complete. I was considering adding another repeat of the entire lace section, to try to make it bigger, but I am going to guess it will grow more with blocking and I also don’t want to run out of yarn. We’ll see! I just can’t believe how quickly I am getting through this project!

8/30/15: I made it to 133 sts and am ready to begin the final lace section. The project has flown by so far! I can’t believe how fast I’ve been able to get this done even without constantly working on it. That being said, I have pretty much been focused on this project the past few weeks. I am so excited to be casting off soon!

8/31/15: time for bed, but I’m 2 rows and the BO row from getting this done. The sad thing is that even if I finished it this week, I won’t want to wear it due to the warming up weather we’ve been forecasted to get this week. No matter, it will be ready for the first chilly day we get this fall!

9/1/15: I am done with the final lace section and the BO! To make it even more amazing is that I only have a few yards left of this yarn. I don’t know if I could have been able to do another row or two with what is left! All that is left to be done is weave in the final end, wash, and block! I am hoping it will grow a little, and the lace should really open up. It’s a very thick piece, but I think it will be great for the cold weather around here!
