The “mother” is a conservation educator, so I used the bamboo, even though it was 75% acrylic. I used two strands of yarn because the yarn was so thin. I have seen some folks say they have a lot of trouble w/ bamboo yarn splitting. That was a little problem, the yarn is not twisted very tightly, but not so bad that i wouldn’t use it again. It made a very soft blanket.

The pattern is not complicated and it is fun to do, but i had to pay very close attention. The rows are just enough different that my brain couldn’t just program it. I did plenty of frogging, usually just a few stitches, i’d catch it pretty quickly.
