I saw this pattern and loved it. Then I saw Gwendollyn’s triple-wide lace border FOs, and had to make one. I got an e-subscription to the pattern magazine, and started it the same night. Beautiful and easy pattern with a triple-wide Section 2!

May 21: on Row 13 of Section 2.
May 28: on Row 21 of Section 2. used 133 gm. of yarn so far or 826 yd. I am not happy with the bend in the edge on Section 2. It looked fine at Row 5, but started to bend at Row 9. Later, I added an extra stitch or two on each end, and sometimes at the tip, but the bend is bothering me.
I frogged back to Section 2, Row 5.
Now on Section 2, Row 8. Adding extra stitches at each edge.
May 31: on Row 2 of Section 3.
June 12: finished after a long time on another project. Added a different border, from Mary Konior’s Crochet Lace book.
