Using jayeyarns modifications to make longer wingspan and shallower shawl;

• For shell rows, only increase at centre on rows 3, 7, 11, 15, 18, 23.
• For all rows, begin with 1 extra chain and end with tc instead of dc.
• Work a full shell instead of a half shell at the beginning and end of each shell row.

Mar. 29 - finished cone 1 (522 yd.) near the end of row 39. On row 40.

Mar. 30 - this shawl was taking on the dreaded kite shape. I frogged back to row 39 and started increasing at the centre on every row. Now on row 45. 52 shells on one side, and 51 shells on the other side; how did that happen??? I’m planning to fudge it.

April 1 - finished. Need to sew in ends and block.
April 20 - sewed in ends. Blocking.
