A wonderful design. Easy to work and lovely, for free. Pattern band #2 has errors in text, possibly due to translation. Luckily, it is easy to figure out by looking at the photos of the FOs.

Feb. 20 - finished skein 1 at the end of row 1, 4th repeat, Pattern no 2.
Feb. 24 - finished Pattern no. 3. Added different border, from Konior’s Crochet Lace book,#15. Triangular Shawl, p. 109-111
Feb. 28 - finished and sewed in ends.
Mar. 2 - machine washed.
Mar. 3 - pinned out for steam blocking. Used cake racks to support the iron and get it uniformly close to the acrylic shawl without touching. Save me from holding that heavy iron for so long!

Blocking made such a dramatic difference in this acrylic boucle. It is so drapey now - not quite “killed”. The stitches are laying flat and the border is not rippling.
