This is my first sweater ever. I thought the pattern would be simple and it was for the most part. But, I was paying more attention to the Olympic opening ceremonies and not to the pattern. So I missed a Kfb in the pattern for the increases to create the shoulders and sleeves. I didn’t notice this until I had knit the ribbing at the bottom and cast off. Oops! I was tempted to just leave the sweater the way it is and put it on a teddy bear or something. But, the perfectionist in me doesn’t want my first sweater to be an abomination only fit for a stuffed animal. I want my first sweater to be one that I will put on my daughter when she’s born this winter. So I’ll frog it back to the beginning and start again. Afterall, it only took me two days to knit it the first time. I should be able to finish this sweater and maybe another Ravellenic Games project as well before the games are over.
