  • CO 84
  • knit garter for several rows
  • knit stockinette for a few inches increasing 4 sts using Kfb bringing stitch count to 88 (in hindsight I would have increased maybe 2 or 4 more stitches as the brim is rolling a bit)
  • K3, YO, K2tog and repeat to end (these are the eyelets I will weave the ribbon through. In hindsight I would have probably done K1 or K2, YO, K2tog.)
  • knit stockinette for several more rows then decrease
  • knit 9, K2tog across
  • purl across
  • knit 8, K2tog across etc.
