I started this shawl a few days ago but had to frog it and start over when I lost my count and ended up with one TARDIS stacked on top of the previous one. I also realized this time around that the repeats start from row 2 and not from row 1. So my first attempt was wrong on many levels. But I am paying attention now and getting ready to start the first repeat. So far so good:)

I am on my third repeat and starting to feel pretty comfortable with this pattern. So far all of the TARDIS are lining up like they are supposed to. I did have to tink back one of the cable rows which was a challenge. But, now I feel confident in my tinking skills. And of course the shawl is better for the repairs.

I’m finally finished after almost a year of work on this shawl. I love it though and the yarn softened up even more after blocking. But, the yarn bled more than I expected when I soaked it so I hope it doesn’t bleed again if I happen to be wearing the shawl in a rain storm. I’m not too worried. I’m just glad I stuck it out and made this shawl as long as originally planned.
