Have been wanting to cast on this shawl ever since I saw Tina’s. Her colours just blew me away, as did the squishy, chunky nature of the heavy weight brioche.

Finally, after culling and sorting through my stash at the start of this year, I’ve put all my 8ply and 10ply leftovers and lonely mohair balls in a basket and cast on! I’m holding all yarn with a strand of mohair for a soft and overall fuzzy look <3

The cast on was a bit tricky, but after about FIVE attempts I got a start that I was happy with. I’ve also dropped down to 3.75mm needles as my tension was a bit loose on 4mm.

Used 4mm needles for the icord bind-off

This is a HUGE pile of soft, fuzzy pastel dreaminess and I love it.
