Loved this jumper since I first saw it on Ella’s instagram! Ella’s pattern is clear and well written and the yarn is really nice to knit with (first time using it).

I bought the pattern and yarn for Ola in Shetland, from the Jamieson & Smith shop which was pretty cool! Ella, the designer, was working that day too. Mum and I had been talking about visiting Shetland for a little while and we did so together earlier this year. Shetland is absolutely beautiful and it was pretty special having that experience with Mum. We both left with a few projects worth of yarn….when in Shetland right?

Pattern mods:

• Followed instructions for 38” (4th size) for the body, and 36” (3rd size) for the sleeves and yoke.
• Cast on body ribbing with 2.75mm, but used 2.5mm for sleeve ribbing and neck ribbing. Used 3mm for stocking stitch body and swapped to 3.25 for colourwork/yoke as per Ella’s suggestion in the pattern.
