My 8yo loves the Pomatomus sock pattern, and so I made him this hat for Christmas. I did not twist the rib, and used worsted weight wool on size 8 needles, casting on 96 stitches instead of 120. These mods meant it took me two days of stealth knitting to whip up this hat.

I was skeptical about whether the crown decreases were actually going to work, so just be patient if you are similarly puzzled.
