18/11: Am about 1/3 of the way through. Loving the cable pattern.

It’s a great pattern so far. It took me a bit to figure my way around it, it’s not the most intuitive system. The key to the chart signs are found on a different page than the chart, but they are in abbreviated form and you have to scroll right back to page 2 to see what the abbreviations stand for. It’s no trouble for an experienced knitter used to cable charts but a more beginner one basically has to flick through 3 different pages all the time.

25/11: All done! It took me longer than I expected, I hadn’t factored in the fact that it’s slouchy, therefore quite long, and full of cables which take a long time. The result is soooo worth it though, the hat is gorgeous. I hope the recipient will like it as much as I do.
