02/03: I started but wasn’t really happy with the yarn. After having completed almost an entire lace repeat, I realised I’d done the increases wrong from the beginning so I ripped it out and took this as a sign I needed to chance yarn as well. I’ve now ordered some Shibui Cima in my sister’s choice of colour. Will start again as soon as I receive it. Exciting!

11/03: Got the yarn yesterday and immediately did my swatch. Loving working with this yarn, it’s so soft, almost buttery.

08/03: On to the body. After doing a few rows on the body, I put all the stitches on waste yarn and tried it on to check the size. My sister is a bit smaller than me at the moment but it gave me an idea of the fit nonetheless.
I also made the most of having my needle free and finished the sleeves off. Now back onto the body.
