2014 Handmade Christmas #7

Boom! 2 days of knitting and you have a hat. Love! I’ve made a few hats this Christmas but they’ve all been in fingering weight yarns and therefore took quite a bit longer. For this ne, I used 2 strands of fingering yarn held together to make it a worsted weight and it worked beautifully.
I love the simplicity of this one, with the subtle texture of the garter stitch panel to break the monotony. I’m thinking I might make some more of those for our winter; they’ll be great for the kids.
