2014 Handmade Christmas #2

08/11: Using 2.75 and 3.25mm needles as I did for Al’s ones. Was going to use tubular cast-on but decided to go traditional long-tail cast-on in the end.

16/11: All done. I used exactly half a skein to make these. Made them with the same mods I’d done for Al’s pair, but also used Jeny’s stretchy bind-off for the fingers, which I hadn’t done on the first pair. It was the first time I was using this type of bind-off but I’m completely converted. It works really well for things like these mittens.
