Well, that was quick to make! I followed the pattern to the letter - for a change, haha! - and it turned out beautifully. I love knitted baby pants in general but this one is especially cute with the little cable pattern on the sides of the legs.
Doing the I-cord tie was also surprisingly fun and therapeutic. I have very little experience with I-cords and had never done a tie like that but it’s really nice. It gives the same result as when using a french knitting bee, except much easier and quicker and done with a double-pointed needle (or small circular in my case). Love it!

This was the last one of the baby clothes that I’d planned on making. I’m working on a cabled baby blanket too but probably won’t finish it on time, given my history with blankets. Now I can’t wait for my little pumpkin to come into this world so she can wear all these garments. I’ll add modelled photos when she does :)
