With a slightly smaller gauge, I opted to knit a large to give me a medium-large which should be the right size.

Otherwise no modifications other than knitting the bottom edge of the pockets with the first row of the ribbing and I used a 2mm circular needle to pickup for the sleeves and neck.

And it worked! the body blocked to the right width and length and the sleeves are a bit longer than the pattern, but I’m happy with that.

This yarn works well for this pattern, the linen gives the fabric some drape. Before blocking, the yarn biased a bit which did worry me and the hem kept wanting to fold up. With blocking the yarn softened and bloomed beautifully and a light steam helped it straighten out and fixed the hem. Beautiful colour and great to knit with.
