Oh my lord, this is a warm sweater. It is just the perfect thing for our dreary Melbourne winter. The pattern was so easy and really well written, thank you!

I love the colour of this yarn, and it knitted up beautifully, but then I nearly felted it the first time I washed it. and the sleeves and collar were a bit too short, so I un-pulled the the cuff and neck cast-off and and added an extra inches of ribbing to the cuffs and about two inches to the neck. I still had plenty of the last skein left.

And how much does this yarn pill. I did wear it a lot over the the first month, but I had to buy a more heavy duty de-piller as it did for my old one. I spent about an hour giving this sweater a really good shave and then a more careful wash. It is still beautiful and so very warm. I love it to bits.

The buttons came from Luccello in Melbourne.

Sadly after lots more wear, and another wash this jumper has fully felted. What a pity.
