Cast on 36. Added 6 rnds k1p1 ribbing.
Working on circular needles with magic loop -- need to keep moving the loop, but it’s working out fine. Could not find a way to make it work knitting two at a time magic loop because of the changes in direction.
Slipping a stitch purl wise on the first stitch of rows along the edges that will need to be picked up later. Makes the picking up much easier.

Made 8 tiers of rectangles with the thumb hole in the 6th. Ended with 6 rounds of ribbing at top.

Next time, I would put a round of plain knitting between the ribbing and the first set of triangles.

Lovely looking yarn but I’m sure it will pill and frizz like crazy. Barely had any twist, and came untwisted as I knit.
