Notes

06-24-14 Kitchener done - 14th Mohair Bias Loop ready to gift this Saturday :-)

Must also mention that the best knitting needles for this project are 9” straight bamboo - I have knit 14 Mohair Bias Loops and mohair is just too fine and slippery to knit on metal needles.

06-23-14 Finished knitting 148 rows…now to find the time to Kitchener before Saturday…

Put on some nice music, give yourself plenty of space (to pull the 5 yard tail without tangling) and start grafting … it really makes this piece stunning! I find the Churchmouse written instructions extremely informative and detailed, however, I noticed two important set up steps are missing and always resort to the internet to see this weblink for detailed pictures with written instructions: https://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer04/FEATtheresasum04.html

06-20-14 This is my 14th Mohair Bias Loop - they are so easy! A dear friend saw one of mine last year, so I decided to knit and gift one for her birthday next weekend.

One skein project and I can complete a loop in about 15 hours (takes about 2 hours to do the Kitchener stitch :-)

Finally posted this project since I am 100 rows into it…only 48 rows to go!
