12-08-2020 Finished Leg Chart, Heel Flap and Heel Turn. Picked up gusset stitches. Remembered to M1R at beginning of round 1 of Instep before K2tog decrease and M1L at end of Instep before knitting first SSK decreases on round 2 of Instep Chart. Knit up to round 15.

12-07-2020 Completed Long Tail Cast On, KTBL round and K1P1 ribbing. Knit Leg Chart up to puns 6.

12-06-2020 FIRST SOCK DONE

Knit Instep Chart and gusset decreases … decided to add rounds 1-9 again for a bit more length. Switched to DPNs to knit Toe decreases and Kitchener stitched 12 stitches on each needle.

12-05-2020 Finished ribbing and Leg Chart (ending after round 1 of Leg Chart). Knit set up for Heel, Heel Flap and Heel Turn. Picked up gusset stitches, started knitting Instep Chart on round 1 and started gusset decreases on even rounds.

Knitting another pair to gift for Christmas Completed Long Tail Cast On and knit first row through the back loop instead of Tubular Cast On. The recipient needs a sturdy, stretchy opening. Also using my Zing US 2 (2.75mm) 12” circular to knit a bit larger sock.

Knit up to round 41 of Leg Chart finishing gusset decreases on round 20 this evening.

Like my first sock, finished Heel Flap, Heel Turn and picked up 15 + 1 gusset stitches on each side of Heel Flap this afternoon.

Finished 1 and only repeat of Leg Chart this morning.

10-14-2020 Knit Cuff and up to round 23 of Leg Chart.

Successfully completed Tubular Cast On of my second sock

First sock The color is really a dusty rose/mauve - difficult to photograph

Finished gusset decreases on round 20. After finishing first repeat of Instep Chart, slipped on my sock and the fit is ABSOLUTEY PERFECT ( my SOFT choice ) Knit rounds 1 through 9 of Instep Chart to reach the beginning of my toes and switched to my addiCraSyTrio size US 1.5 (2.5mm) flexible dpns to knit Toe decreases. Really like the “negative ease” VERY ANXIOUS to finish to cast on second sock

10-13-2020 Since I have small feet, began Heel Flap on round 1 (after completing Leg Chart). Knit Heel Flap 30 rounds (usually knit 32, but using size US 1.5 instead of US 1). Successfully knit Heel Turn, picked up gusset stitches (required 15 + M1) and continued Instep starting with round 1. Knit up to round 19 of Instep Chart while knitting gusset decreases on even rounds.

After knitting up to round 48 (1 repeat of Leg Chart) have to agree with other Ravelry comments One of the prettiest patterns ever
