Notes

Cast on 76 stitches with a crocheted cast on and then continued with the usual tubular 4 row cast on edge. This is the link of Roxanne Richardson’s video regarding this.

I really believe that the tubular cast on is too flimsy to work well on circular needles, so I used a crocheted cast on and then removed that cast on after the tubular 4 rows.
Knit until 2 .5 inches from ribbing. Started a stranded motif that is 7 rows. Went up to size 9 needles for the motif. plan to do another inch of straight stitch and then a motif, then 2 inches of straight stitch before the decreases.

  • There were a lot of oops on this one. I think I would use a german twisted cast on next time. My motif was off because I was thinking I had 6 inches from the ribbing and not the cast on and so, it sould have been placed maybe at 1.5 with another .5 space and then another motif. The color of the motif was a little too light. I have decided that dpns are better once I start decreasing.
