Used size 4 straight needles to cast on and work the 4 rows of the Italian tubular cast on. Using size 5 needles for the 1x1 rib

Using size 7 needles for straight stitch. Tried sizing by adding an extra inch, but that did not work. What I need is a deeper armhole, so start decreases as per pattern and maybe add on an extra inch with the armhole.

Ripped back 3 times because I wasn’t happy with my tension. Finished back, but I am not happy with the shoulder shaping stitches at the end. I am going to see what the references say. I knit until the measurement was 21 inches from the cast on edge because I needed a longer armhole

Started front.
1-21-2025 Front ribbing done and I got a respiratory bug.
1-30-2025 I got sooo sick and my tension improved. Go figure.
1-31-2025 Both front and back are completed to the armhole. Started on the back armhole decreases. Gauge is the same so far for both front and back.
2-8-25 On blocking mats for first blocking.
2-10-25 First blocking done and seamed up 1 side
2-13-25 almost finished with the ribbing for the first armhole.
2-20-25 Armholes done and starting on neckline
