This shawl was challenging!! I breezed right along until I finished the edge set-up chart. Numbering the charts so that I wouldn’t get mixed up. But then I hit row 23!!! For two days I read and reread the discussions in the forums. Finally I sent a message to the owner of the pattern. Who was very helpful.
At row 23, row 25 and row 27 you move the stitch marker over 1 stitch to the right @the beginning of the first repeat(you must do this because you will have one stitch left over and will be thinking that you have made a mistake) this stitch becomes the s2kp at the beginning of the repeat. Easy peasy!!
I used beads for the set up chart, the Yucca chart, the Final Agave chart, agave chart but decided to skip them on the transition chart and skipped them until row 43 (this row took me 4 hours to do, with all the beading) and row 45. I used dental floss to insert as I went along.
Is it worth it, YES it is! The shawl is very lovely!!
