I’m knitting these socks exactly as the free pattern. Nice pattern. Haven’t knit toe up short rows until now. Took a couple of times to keep the correct tension in order to prevent holes. Found the leg of the sock too bulky using this 4 ply sock yarn from patons but after blocking and drying on sock hanger seems better!
