I wanted to try this sweet tomato heel pattern so I purchased the pattern. but I didn’t want to have a pattern in this particular sock so I followed the directions from toe to heel and then knit up the leg. Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind-off is great but I kept forgetting which yo was the regular yo and which was the reverse. Go figure!! I like the sweet tomato heel but have to do some tweeking to keep from having holes. Has to be my fault but unsure why. I did three full wedges but think I should have used two and a partial because of some extra bulk. I’ll continue using this heel pattern in the future if I can resolve the hole issue. Sure feels great on the foot.
