K asked for a baby blanket with several shades of purple. Using the lightest color for body of blanket and letters, medium for center rectangle, and dark for heart, “ribbon” and edging.

For top and bottom seams I sewed approximately 3 stitches per mesh space section and for the two sides approximately 2 stitches per mesh space section. I like the row of sc’s around the inside of the blanket to match those numbers, as that makes the seam work out better.
