Only picked up 152 stitches for my hood opening. I followed the guidelines for the pickup rate and that’s what it gave me and I was happy enough with it to not go back and try to find 50-something extra stitches to pick up. I may end up finishing the inside of the hood with a different color angora yarn that I have in stash, but we’ll see.

Okay not going to switch to the other color of yarn to finish the hood opening, even knowing I’m going to run out of the teal faster now. I have plans for that yarn and don’t really want to use it up for this! Still considering adding the other color to finish off the back portion…

Only decreasing to 40 stitches on the front before doing my icord bind off - I’m playing yarn chicken and I’d rather have a shorter front and back panel than joining in a different color!

Yup! Decreased the back to like 35 and then did an icord bind off. I didn’t follow the pattern bind of instructions and instead just did a normal icord bind off and kitchenered the stitches together at the end.

Absolutely obsessed with this and honestly very pleased with the length of the front and back panels. Can’t wait to get it blocked and cozy up in it!
