I’ve been using this as my pick-up-and-knit-casually project while doing sewing workshops (total beginner here!) for one weekend, then a weekday-week, then a long weekend knitting summit that included a knit along…

And working on sets of sewn knitting kits starting with random projects from the workshops, then when it wrapped I rushed to make my daughter a big 10 pc set that included nearly complete sets of 0-10.5/22 straight needles in two lengths and double pointed needles that were all secondhand, spares, or thrifted for her… Two needle roll ups for the two sets, a rice bag project bag, zippered pouch and folded pouch set, snap on dpn project protector (yes that’s a WW hat sneaking out of them in one photo… the test super bulky knit I did wasn’t matching so I faked it for the pic), scrappy basket tray, magnetic needle minder, pincushion in a travel tin, and a wristlet to hook the little travel items to… All using secondhand or remnant fabrics other than a single one bought new.
