Adding some sparkles and playing around with strategies on this little project before I start the more in depth Don’t Blink! (Weeping Angel- Doctor Who) by Tess Campbell

I copied the pattern onto 1/4” dot graph paper and halved the squares, added some sparkles to the background and began… I used locking stitch markers to remind me when to change colors in the current row and my hand me down Susan Bates Bubble Bar is handy at magnifying 2 rows at a time!

But I also decided to write how many squares in each segment so I can be more absent minded with the knitting, hopefully, and still get it right!

I switched to my magnetic board with a clip on highlighter bar because I preferreded to have more than 2 rows highlighted

Used the kitchener bind off that the designer demonstrated in the Knit Happy Summit instead of the one written into the pattern.
