Jessica Ays released this pattern as a multi-part daily knit-a-long during her Knit Happy Summit May 2026.

I used my Cord Quill from Twice Sheared Sheep for the i-cord loop, instead of a cross body band.

I added the knitting motif from Puffy mermaid for my mermaid with minor alterations.

I also made myself a Double Pointed Needle Project Keeper aka Teasel Knitting Pouch by The Folded Line to help contain my needles and project as I moved about.
