Nurse Mates Izzy Doll pattern by Esther Braithwaite

My very first Izzy Doll or Comfort Doll, a nifty simple soft doll made by creating a tube with a rounded off top then using running stitches to cinch the head, the feet, and then divide the legs and arms.

This designer has a handful of free basic patterns and more ornate paid patterns/animal alternates, but the nurses happened to be on the free list! I went my own way with her hair, eyes, and adding a heart to her chest, but love the simple result!
