Notes

Tablet Woven using my Schacht 15” Rigid Heddle Loom for the longer warp than my inkle, my first time warping with tablets / cards on a RHL…

I was using a warping peg on one end of my extended dining table and after I initially threaded all the cards, before lashing on, the warping peg fell and lost all of the tension/altered the lengths of individual untied warp strands… So I finished sleying and lashing on to what should have been the front end, then wound the loom, cut and lashed to the back beam, and wound again with my tensioning devices in place and separating papers before adjusting the knots at the other end. Between adjustments, it wound up with the loom upside down, so I was able to flip the cards, since the design is fully symmetrical, and proceeded to weave.

In retrospect, I think that I can get this length on my inkle, but in the future I’ll use a warping board when using the rigid heddle loom with tablets, for hybrid warping.
_____________

Using the same draft as used in my Inkle Tablet Woven Mint Chocolate Chip Band but adding an additional central color by reversing one motif each for all tablet holes being at the top, usually on the second round of turns.

Shown with my coordinating Hobbii Summer Stripes Yoga Socks, Child’s Elevation Yoga Socks, Indigo Milk Cap - Thicc Mushroom Lady, Indigo Milk Cap Mushroom Chibi Thicc and fabric which will be sewn into a meditation pillow, eye masks, and cushioned shoulder pad for the yoga mat strap carrier as part of a yoga/self care mommy & me gift set.
