Sister wished for traditional Norwegian Selbu mittens for Christmas. Ooof. Tough order! These are the test run in leftover yarn from other projects. I’m trying my best but I’m not entirely happy with my colorwork skills -- lots of bumpiness and pulling in, strands showing through foreground color in places…

The pattern is wonderfully simple though -- just a few words and the colorwork chart. The chart shows where to place the waste yarn for afterthought thumb and where to start decreasing. Love it.
