There are so many things about this sweater I love!! There’s the big gauge, the beautifully placed raglan detail, the cleverly hidden colour changes, the roomy arms and the single needle size for the whole garment! (even though I chose to size down for the hem)

CO for a size 40 graded to a 44 by the split.

Wet blocked before knitting sleeves.

Pre-blocked.
Width 41”
Length 21.5” (from back neck)

Post-blocked
Width 43”
Length 41.5” (from back neck)

Interestingly the blocking only grew in width, so when I do my sleeves I will knit it to the length I want.

Total yardage used: 431 g or 8.6 balls or 939 yards

Bottom Hem
Used a US6 needle for garter, then back to a US8 for Cast off.

Sleeves

Used the main body needles (US8)

At the beginning of working the sleeve, I did some rapid decreases (4 per row) 4 times on the first, third, fifth and seventh rounds.

Decrease to 6 sts less than in the original pattern then begin the garter edge, finished the same as the bottom hem.
