Started out following instructions for size 8 - way, way too small. I am starting over with some modifications. Here’s the plan:

1 - Size 6 needles - tighter knit @ 5 stitches per inch
2 - Casting on 136
3 - Working the pattern for 12 rows before starting to decrease

• button hole in row 7
• starting bind off in row 13 4 - Straps - 6 stitches wide

BUT

136 was too wide but I like the way the top fit - wouldn’t want it smaller the straps in back were too long.

• The sewing instructions were not great - especailly when it comes to the ribbon and how/were it should go. I will be making another for my other daughter and will take better notes and take some photos along the way.

• Also added the flower but after making it decided to sew it to a bar pin backing - thought it would be cute on other things too. Flower pattern is derived from: Susan B Anderson’s Itty Bitty Nursery Flower Pacifier
