Back now complete and front welt started. The welt looked rather small, so I’m knitting to a larger size than normal.

I’ve had to reduce the needle size a lot to get the correct tension - 3mm on the main stocking st, and 2.5mm for the rib/welt. I don’t like the welt on tiny fine needles and thick yarn, makes for an uncomfortable knit.

26/9/12 completed the sewing up. Now just the neckband

17/1/13 knitted the neckband. Now to sew-up!

22/1/13 Finished at LAST! So elegant…love it!
