Have been wanting to do this sock for quite sometime now. my 100th project! and for me. (at least of the ones I have recorded) This is going to be made out of leftovers so do need to go and choose the yarns and colors tomorrow. May not turn out as beautiful as I see in my head, but they’ll get better. I really like this the idea with this pattern. Do think it will work, just not sure how much work it will be.

Did cuff 2 1/4” and on leg chart.
Got my new Karbonz needles by knitters Pride They are wonderful! LOve them.!!! Addies, Ebony and chiaogoo my favorite needles, But these are my most favorite by far. LOVE them. They even have give so as not to snap. They are very smooth and no grind like the other pair I bought a couple of years ago. And less money than the first one. Don’t try a pair unless you want to buy more needles. I don’t want to but am preparing for the future. lol.

March 1st Finished leg chart. Looking more fair
isle-ish with this yarn. Didn’t have any long run yarns, but still looks ok. pic so dark, can’t seem to get a good pic. Maybe on feet when done. Starting 2nd sock later and get it to the heel.

March 2nd Grocery day and all that kind of thing. Got cuff of 2nd sock done and starting chart. Hopefully Sunday will be a quiet relaxing day to get some knitting done, AND get a better pic of both.

March 3rd almost to the heel flaps. Also need to take 3rows out of first sock.. or add 3 to other sock. will probably add.

March 4th1 heel and gusset morning. Tried on and much happier, even though still not all that happy with color or yarn, but fits great and feels good, just need to add a little length, like 3 1/2” for winter sock, and make them shorter for warmer weather. and
Get good yarn.!
Both socks at the same point now.Ready for gusset shaping then foot. :)

March 5thWhew! really caused myself a lot of extra work. I had taken 4 sts off on the gusset picup so foot would fit a lot better, and did get myself in a ‘tither’ 1 sts. out of pattern but that is in the shaping, and will fix that next time around. At least it is in order now. wow.! now to read my directions for the other gusset, lol

March 6th Both gussets done, 2nd one this morning. See what later brings. Hope the foot. nope.

March 7th Well finished 1 sock to the toe. Hope to get both Finished tomorrow., but probably won’t have time till Sat. :(

March 8th Finished toe this morning, but had to rip back as toe was to long and wide for my foot, but have the numbers for me now. Will make much easier to make the next ones. Love the feel and fit, want to make a longer pair and a shorter pair. All season socks.

March 9/10. nothing

March 11th. Finished and wearing. Happy warm feet.
