Notes

1/11/2011: There’s a big snow storm coming tonight, so I made sure to go to Michael’s during lunch to stock up. I will be prepared this time. This is one of the projects I made sure to get yarn for. These colors will look great together. Could not find a hook between K and N in Michaels so I’ll use a K hook on this.

I love working with Classic Wool. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try it. This pattern is working up very quickly. I may actually finish this during tomorrow’s snow day and get through another project as well.

1/12/2011: Wow, this is going fast and looks gorgeous! I have not done such a great job with the connection at the end of the rows, but I’ll live. I will definitely need to line the bag.

Finished around noon. Looks great. I can tell the straps will probably stretch. Would probably use a different material for the straps if I make another one. I made the strap chain 15 ch longer. When doing the eyelet round, I had 3 extra stitches, so I had to redistribute the eyelets to look even.

Used less than the full skien of the light color. Used 2 skeins at the same time of the dark color, so I don’t know if I could have used just one.

Bag came out great. Will probably make some more in the future.
