The patterns is clearly written and knits up easily. I wanted more of a warm winter scarf so I started casting on 2 stitches rather than 4 at in ach row and it slowed down teh widening of the scarf allowing me to make it deeper but it created a step that I did not like. But, as I was knitting against a deadline, I decided to ignore it and make up for it by knitting a flower brooch with leaves!
The pattern makes a rather narrow scarf but with a nice bit of lace
The yarn is butter-soft. It does shed but I think it will not be too much. I think it will felt if used for a cardigan, but for a scarf/shawl it is ideal
