170 stitches, 7 stitches border each side. Decided to knit the border together with the blanket. Cast on in border colour, used tubular cast-on with waste yarn and knit 2x2 rib as all seed and garter borders looked too floppy for my liking. Side border knit as a 2-row horizontal rib so it remains elastic and does not stretch. Like it so far.

The blanket was rolling inwards quite badly but steaming sorted that quite well, hovering over the blanket and a damp muslin.
Too much yarn as well, lots left over. Later realised that if I did a three- colour blanket I would have used exactly 2 balls of each colour
Only started knitting in end towards the end, should have thought of it sooner!
Happy with how it turned out. Nicely scrunched for warmth, can wash and block more aggressively for a bigger and lighter blankie.
11 repeats gave a good size, width ok was well
