Notes

I love the two colors next to each other, but in stripes it is starting to feel a little athletic. We will see. Also, it is for a baby girl, but I was trying to be modern and avoid baby colors.

3/19: Body done, and I’ve moved on to the hood. Before the sleeves, but for no good reason. I had to make the body a bit longer than 6” to end on a full white stripe. I also realized that my armhole is about 1/4” too short, and hope that won’t be a problem in the long run.

3/27: Haven’t spent as much time on this as I should. Garter stitch striped sleeves in the round take forever! You really have to keep the yarns orderly or you spend a lot of time untangling/untwisting.

3/31: For some reason my gauge was much looser for the second sleeve. Had to go down two needle sizes for the cable edging. Running out of time on this!!

Grafting the corner was a little rough, but it turned out okay. I have to double check my yarn useage but I used the same number of balls as called for in the pattern with some padding. Also made the Peerie Weerie booties in two colors to match.
