Originally was going to use Forest Heather as MC but there wasn’t enough contrast. I had the Dove Heather from a severely discounted kit.
Started the knitting during a roadtrip to San Francisco. 6 hours of knitting!
3/13: This is full on like knitting a sweater! I have just started my third ball of yarn. I finished the 5” on the back section of the stitches and have moved on to the front section. This is going much faster, but I am getting tired of stockinette… Looking forward to at least changing to another color of yarn…
3/15: Have moved onto my contrast color. Excited to be knitting in the round again. I used under 3 balls of the MC so far. What I have left over from those three should work as my pocket bags.
3/18: So close. I have done two repeats of the Daisy stitch. My hands don’t like knitting all the K3togs. I used a full ball of CC before getting to the daisy section.
3/23: This skirt is so stinking cute. But… not as cute on. I need to work on my styling though. I cinched up the elastic quite a bit. It’s about four inches or so less than my waist circumference. I made the smallest size which is smaller than what I normally would have made. In hindsight I might have done less increases so it doesn’t feel as much like I’m wearing a costume skirt.
3/28: After blocking and wearing with a different outfit, I love it!!!
