I added a little rice and stuffing in some plastic wrap to the middle of the body for some extra weight. I’m going to try to make the DK weight work for the sweater. Hopefully I’ll have enough yardage if I double it.

I switched it up and put the rice in a cotton cloth inside the body. Still kind of feels like a hard mass inside. For the sweater I used DK Silky Wool held alongside of the Alpaca Cloud laceweight yarn to get gauge. DK doubled was way too thick.

I knit the sweater as written and then realized that there was way too much fabric between the ears. I’ll post a picture of that. I took out at least an inch of fabric and regrafted. I didn’t really need those increases for the hood but the puffy hood is cute.
