I was confused about the pleating, but the tutorial on the designer’s page really helped. Also, I had never crocheted into the back ridge. At first I was just doing back loop, but that is not right!

For the second side, you have to do one more or less rows than the other side to keep the pleating symmetrical.

I wore it to the movie! I used the whole ball, and didn’t have enough to sc around the entire top and bottom edge of the headband. I only single crocheted around the center part, and not the widest section. And ahem, one knot in the ball. I guess I should be lucky considering the yarn reviews.
